Haha, yes exactly like torturing kittens, assuming rhel 5 is a kitten,
and a broken vswitch install is torture.

We get a VLOG_WARN in nln_notifier_create().  I can upgrade that to a
VLOG_ERR if you'd like.  A separate patch would probably be
appropriate.
